IEA
The Institute for Electronic Arts is dedicated to the integration of electronic media within the fine arts disciplines through a focus on art making, research and education. The Institute was established in 1997 to focus on the development of electronic imaging studios, to sponsor cross disciplinary work and to encourage interactive workshops for the promotion of professional dialogs. In recognition of this integration, the Institute develops working partnerships with industry and other organizations. To identify the needs of contemporary artists, the Institute supports evolving studio research labs, hosts national and international conferences, and provides artists’ residencies and workshops. The Institute encourages and supports projects that involve interactive multi-media, distance communication systems, experimental music and video environments and publications. The Institute is dedicated to the global interactions of technological experimentation and artistic investigations. http://iea.art.alfred.edu

Experimental Television Center
The Experimental Television Center was founded in 1971, an outgrowth of a media access program established by Ralph Hocking at Binghamton University in 1969; today, the Center continues to provide support and services to the media arts community. We offer an international residency Program, grants to individuals and media organizations, and sponsorship assistance for independent media and film artists. Since 1994 the Video History Project provides information about the formative development of media art and community television. We partner with other organizations in the media preservation field to offer conferences and symposia, and to develop informational resources. The Video History Web concerning the formative development of media art and community television. functions as an interactive research collection and dissemination vehicle concerning the formative development of media art and community television. It is an important resource for media professionals, scholars, researchers, educators and media programmers as well as the general public. http://www.experimentaltvcenter.org
